As a co‐creation partner, BioInnovate is typically actively involved from early stages in the innovation process, and provides expert knowledge and advice from proof of concept to product development and scaling.
At its core, it works from multi-stakeholder partnership principles and processes of co-creation and co-ownership. Such aligned activities require building mutual trust and identification of both short-term and long-term benefits of all involved partners, but in the end, reach further.
On the global scene, BioInnovate works on innovation and product development for the control of many insect pests such as fruit flies, mosquitoes, aphids, ants and several moth species with some major commercial, academic and governmental partners in Hungary, England, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Bolivia, and the USA.
Within Sweden, BioInnovate works with the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Lund University, Jordbruksverket, Hushållningssällskåpet, Äppleriket among others. BioInnovate is a partner in Partnerskap Alnarp, a platform linking academia and agribusiness.
